Is there a difference between ‘plenty’, ‘enough’, and ‘abundance’? Remember the comment, “We are owned by what we own”. Do you agree? Sometimes the more we own, the more pressure we feel, the more we hold on, and the harder we work to keep it. It’s a state of mind . . . a state of being.
Trust me, I am not saying it’s bad or wrong to have or own a lot, I’m just sharing some thoughts about how we look at what we have… a little or a lot.
In Philippians 4:11 – 12 Paul says…
…for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
