I received such a blessing this morning. I had contacted a friend about an upcoming event, and when she called me back we had a beautiful conversation. It was one of the moments when God spoke through the phone line and touched our hearts. Thanks Peggy!

 

Earlier in the week my cousin from Memphis called.  He didn’t realize we are two hours earlier that the Midwest.  When I saw he had called at 5 AM, I had that sinking feeling of ‘Oh no… what’s happened?”   You know what I mean?  Well, he called to just reach out and say “hi” and tell me he loved me.  Isn’t that awesome!  An unexpected blessing.

I am so appreciative of special friends, family, and special moments. In our days of email and text, sometimes we go long periods of time without actually talking to someone.  The sound of a live voice, the inflections, the emotions that you can hear can make such a difference.

 .
