I’m calling today – FEARLESS FRIDAY.

Being fearless doesn’t mean never having fear, it’s about what do we do with the fear. We each have fears. It could be fear of failure or fear of success (Yes there is that fear also).
A big one that I see all the time is the fear of not being Enough –

good enough
-
smart enough
-
have enough
-
do enough
-
have enough money for today
-
have enough money for the future
-
afraid of the economy
-
afraid they aren’t perfect
-
afraid they don’t measure up.

YIKES! That is a lot of Fear. We can’t handle all of that right now in this short time, so today, release one fear.

How about stop being afraid that you aren’t perfect . . . that is the easiest one. Really, I’m not kidding. Perfection is an illusion, and we can spend so much of our time trying to be perfect that we miss out on living. It is a mental release. How about thinking “I’m going to do my best and then move on”, then congratulate yourself.

Today enjoy each moment, do what you need to do. I’m not saying to not do your best, just it doesn’t have to be perfect. Take the pressure off.

Basically just do it, finish it, and move on. You don’t need to tweak it to death (and Yes that one is for me, I can tweak forever).
.
Whatever you are going to do this weekend, just do it, cook it, watch it, sew it, bake it, wash it… whatever… and realize that the doing is better than it having to be perfect.

You have permission to Not be perfect. SMILE!
