The clouds parted, the sun broke through and the ceremony began.
Bayfield, WI. The rain began on Thursday, the temperature dropped, and we weren’t sure how things were going to work out. We had all packed for 75-80 degree weather, sundresses, sandals, etc., instead, it was raining and in the 40’s Burrr! The ceremony was on Saturday at 6 PM, and literally at 5 PM the sun began to come through and our spirits lifted.
The Bride wore a fabulous vintage style strapless gown and was a vision.
Justin and Emily wrote their vows to each other and it was beautiful. Their words were so real, so authentic and poetic. I really can’t imagine anything more perfect.
As parents we pray for our children. We’ve prayed for Justin, we prayed for wisdom as parents. We prayed for him, for strength and character, and a Godly woman for his wife.
As we stood there in the glorious natural environment of fabulous flowers and gardens we were surrounded by friends and family. It was the answer to many prayers. Pastor Dan talked with them about dedicating their love and family to Christ, to have a God centered home. It was an answer to prayer. When Emily told Justin that he was a gift from God it touched my heart. Justin told her that she was his destiny his partner for life, my spirit soared.
A day of answered prayers on so many levels. So many blessings – I can’t count them all!
Blessings!
