“There is a reason God limits our days….”
As we were relaxing in Newport, sitting out on the beach, I read a really good book, “The Time Keeper” by Mitch Albom. It’s a fictional book about Father Time. It is an easy read, seems simple, yet it has some profound thoughts.
How do we look at time, the choices we make, and the way we choose to spend our moments.
“When you are measuring life, you are not living it.”
We each have the same amount of hours in the day. Are we rushing through life, or enjoying it? Do we spend time creating and becoming our best self, or are we filling up our days with what others tell us to do, or going through the motions?
I’ve spent the last 18 months or so making changes. As God opens up new opportunities to share His love with others, He had to change me first. He is changing how I spend my time. He is changing my choices, my ‘yes’ and my ‘no’ answers on how I live my days. It has been a time of opening my heart to Him in a deeper way, actually ‘making time’ to seek Him in a new way, and making my time with Him a priority. (When you think about it… we don’t really ‘make time’ do we? However, we do choose how to use and spend the hours and minutes…. our moments.)
I choose to open my heart and mind to others, to love more, to appreciate the gift of life and the opportunities that come my way. I choose moments… how about you?

QUESTION: In his book, Mitch Albom finishes the statement,
“There is a reason God limits our days….” How would you fill it in? What is the reason?
