Often we think that the car we drive, or the job we have, determines ‘who’ we are. Not true! My friends, things, jobs, positions, money, etc., do not give us our value or worth. It’s being a child of God that matters, believing it can change everything about our life.

It determines our choices

what we do
-
how we live our life
-
our relationships
-
how we respond to ‘life’

Believe it and receive all the blessings your Father has in store for you… His beautiful child.

The JOY of the Journey, a Christian Concert where I will be singing and sharing the stage with some local KC Friends. We will be doing a variety of music, including favorite hymns, contemporary praise songs, and some original music.

Femininity – what a word!
Over the year we have talked several times about being Fearless and stepping out of our comfort zone. As I think about the whole concept of being a Fun Fearless Female, I realize I haven’t talked at all about being ‘female’. We use many words, female, woman, lady, but within all of these is the concept of femininity. This may seem to a little strange, but ladies, I’d love to know: what does femininity mean to you?
I’ve been talking to my friends here in Las Vegas, and getting some great responses. I’d like to hear from a broader range and different parts of the country … so ladies…. help me out.

Of course there is no right or wrong answer… just your answer. It’s a word that conjures up many thoughts and it may depend on a variety of things.
The dictionary defines it: the quality of being female; womanliness. I think it means a lot more than that.

on where you are from, what part of the country
-
on your relationship with your family, your Mother
SO…… what does Femininity mean YOU?

Yay or Nay
It may sound strange but you can be happy – joyful – content … no matter what your circumstances look like.
It’s more than a positive attitude, it’s choices we make everyday, our outlook on life, our faith. It’s knowing that there is more, there is hope, and always another option.
It is Intentional – it doesn’t just happen. It is based on our Choices.

Here are some choices we can make everyday.

Positive or Negative
-
To go your way or God’s way
-
To be Happy or Grumpy
-
Look for the good in others or judge
-
Tell the truth or lie
-
Do the right thing always or do it when it’s convenient
.
We get to choose the type of person we will be, we choose how to live our life. Isn’t that great! I love the fact that we aren’t stuck…unless we choose to be =)
It will make a difference when we choose ahead of time… then begin to live it out.
